Maurille Prevost studied at l'École des Beaux Arts in Paris. Although she pursued a classical study of painting, she was greatly intrigued by the use of bright color. Her interpretation of the Impressionist school has led her to create a unique style that uses vivid colors. It is with sensitivity and brilliance that Maurille Prevost paints landscapes and city scenes. Landscapes seem to dance with fire as she manipulates the spectrum of color and light.
Maurille Prevost is well known in France and her work is sought after by art connoisseurs worldwide. She has won numerous awards and her work has been exhibited in Italy, Japan, Tunisia, Thailand, New York, Washington D.C., LA, Vienna, and London. Maurille Prevost is no longer actively painting, but Dussard Gallery is honored to feature examples of her best work.
