Pierre Lioret was born in October, 1926 and studied impressionism at l'École des Beaux-Arts d'Orleans and l'École de Barbizon. While still a teenager, he won First Prize at an art exhibit at the Galerie Bernheim in Paris. Since that time, his works have been repeatedly featured in Parisian galleries such as the Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon Art et Culture.

His works are exhibited around the world, including numerous galleries throughout France, Germany, and Russia. In the Ukraine, Pierre Lioret received special recognition as one of the last authentic post-impressionist artists. His work demonstrates that his paintings still capture "les jeux de lumieres de la nature".
